Weird Xbox one x issue?

I have this weird Xbox one x issue I assume it's from the Xbox wondering if anyone else has had this issue sometimes very rarely if I switch from a game to my TV app through my Xbox this screen appears what I mean is I have my cable box hooked to my Xbox
and use the tv app on the Xbox weird thing is yesterday opening a game did this as well and only thing that I first thought to try was unplugging the HDMI out cable and plug it back in then the picture went back to normal anyone else know what may cause this?
I really don't want to wait to have it replaced and the tv is brand new 4k HDR as well

Weird ONE X issue.

Maybe it is, maybe not. Contact also MS support with explanation and if they tell you to replace the xbox, than replace it. It is better before something worse can happen. Never had issues from times I have bought Xbox One.

Hello there!

I don't think you'll need to get it replaced. You don't have to worry, it is a known issue and they're investigating it.

Look out for future console updates and see if that solves the problem.

My friend has had this issue on/off usually happens every few days. He gets it when the console starts sometimes. Thought it was the power cable but that didn't fix it. Thought it might have been the HDMI or because he had a external hard drive hooked up.
Nope. Usually turning the TV on/off or removing/re-inserting the HDMI fixes the problem or a reset if you want to go that route. So far seems to be a harmless bug but annoying.

I think I am having the exact same problem. Screen flashes on and off when switching to the One Guide. Microsoft don't respond to anything. I have resorted to switching the display settings to 60hz, that seems to fix the flashing screen issue, but it does
cause a few glitches with Sky TV.

Thanks for the respond man seems to be a software issue then not hardware am glad to hear am not the only one with this issue though I can't say it's happened recently since that day maybe it was patched without me knowing you still having issues?

Am ok with it being a software bug as long as it's not a hardware bug but so far seems software related maybe it could be addressed with a system update also am in the preview program as well

You have a smart TV I assume? This s a TV specific issue. My TV does some similar weird stuff. You have to complain to your manufacturer for an update, which you probably won't get for months. Best thing to do, get rid of the TV and buy a different brand.
Stay away from Sony and Samsung, go for something dumber.
