Weird xbox bug that NO ONE has seen before

First off, sorry if this is in the wrong category, xbox forums is way too confusing for me.

Description:

When ever I turn on my xbox, it works for about ~5mins before a weird glitch starts to happen.

After about 5mins of playing Call of Duty Ghosts, weird lines pop up on my screen.

Now, I looked all around youtube, and everyone has had a different problem than mine.

I'm here to ask you guys for help with this problem to find a solution to where I don't

have to pay money to fix my xbox.

Now here is what I tried:

- I used 2 different HDMI cords

- I tried the HD AV cable

- I have my pc hooked up to my T.V. and it doesn't do the weird lines when I'm using my pc

- Delete Cache

- Change screen resolution

- Unplug cords, plug back in while xbox 360 is off.

Something I noticed weird about my xbox 360 console:

There is some colored substance around where the heat comes out of the

xbox console.

Freezing Glitch???

hmmm game rushed out early by EA has bugs and screen freezes.. never seen this before

 

Would definitely appear to be a problem with the output from the console.

Might be anything from something as simple as a poor internal connection on the output socket to something more intricate like the failure of a component.

The only way to be sure is to get it checked out by someone authorised to do repairs.

 

Sounds like rrod on its way, to me anyway. All three of my 360s that rrod on me started the same way, but as the other posters said it could be a number of things, thats just my theory. Good luck, and hope it's just something dumb.

 

Yup had same problem, it's a dead console. Sorry to say but it's the absolute truth, and it's very unplayable

 

Contact support for a repair. Or, it could be a TV issue....... Please, mind the timestamp as this issue is a few months old now....

Did you connect the HDMI cord into a different HDMI port on the TV by any chance? If not, give that a try as the TVs port may be having a problem.

If that's not the problem, it may be the console. Do all games do this?

 

I say the graphics processing unit is on its way out.
