Weird xbox 360 controller stuff NEED HELP

i decided to play my xbox 360, so i switched out my gamecube for the xbox and turned it on with the controller. i wanted to play some tony hawk so i tried to use the analog stick, but i realized my controller was off. i tried turning it on, but it just
flashed twice and turned off. so i thought the batteries were dead so i recharged them. after they were comepletely charged, i tried turning it on, but it did the same thing, just flashed twice and turned off. i tried it a couple times and it kept doing the
same thing. i looked up the problem but got no clear answer. except for videos that show people taking apart their controllers. i tried to take mine apart, but i couldnt get any screws out because i dont have any tools that would open it. then later after
trying to turn it on more, a light finally came on.... 4th player. its just.. there. when i turn off the controller and turn it on, it immediatly turns on; the 4th player light. even when i take out the batteries and put them back in, the 4th light just turns
on. im no millionare, hell, not a hundredare, so i cant buy a new controller. but i love playing xbox. somebody help

B button on controller not working

my lb button do a weird click could someone help me with that? is the 2nd controller do that stuff.. thanks

 

Calibration

I need help calibrating my xbox 360 controller

 

Perhaps the rechargeable battery no longer holds a proper charge. Try using regular ones to see if they work.

As for lighting up with the 4th player. Try syncing the controller to your console again. See if that solves the problem.

 

Also try turning the console off and when console fully powered down then disconnect the power supply for at least 30 seconds. After that turn the console on again. Also try the resynching mentioned by onyx62is

I've seen it occasionally solve some weird controller issues in the past.

 

i have noticed with wireless controllers that sometimes the battery pack has lose connections, when even touching the battery pack will turn the controller off

this is why i use wired controllers
