Weird Series S problem

I'm am having a weird issue with my Series S. Whenever their is a console update it has no trouble downloading it at normal speed, but when I try to download games it keeps stopping the download and it is much slower than when I first got it. I am currently trying to download the Resident evil 4 remake demo, it's taken 3 weeks so far and I'm still not done. My Xbox one has the same issue. My Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 5 do not have this problem.

From research this seems to be an issue Microsoft refuses to fix. Has anybody else had this issue and would sending my Series S to Microsoft fix it?

I understand you need help with your Xbox console.

Before sending it for repair, you can try this one too.

Please Go to Settings:

> Network

> Network Settings

> Advanced Settings.

Select the alternate MAC address and then select delete/clear.

You must restart the console for the change to take effect.

And please do this:

Set DNS manually. To manually configure DNS settings, follow the steps below:

1.- Go to Settings

2.- Select Network

3.- Select Network Settings

4.- Select Advanced network settings.

5.- Go to DNS Servers, set it to Manual> enter 8.8.8.8 in the 'Primary' field and 8.8.4.4 in 'Secondary'

If that does not help, you can also try doing port forwarding so you can open ports for the Xbox network.

You could try an offline update, but I don't think that will solve it.
