    Weird Screen Filter


    There is this like saturation that only occurs while playing Battlefront 2. This is the only game that it happens to and when I try to take a screenshot on my PC it disappears. I have no idea why this is happening. Clean boot doesn't work and it isn't an NVIDIA screen filter. I had to take a picture with my phone. I have also included the screenshot from my computer as a comparison. If anybody knows why this is happening or how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hello, TheGamer11. Thanks for reaching out! My name is Lucas, and I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user just like you. I'll be happy to assist you today.

    It's weird since it is happening with only one game. This looks like a blue color filter (also know as night mode) that some softwares use on the phone or PC to reduce eye strain at night. I actually use one of these softwares after 10PM on both my computer and phone. And Windows has a built in night mode too.

    I saw your other thread and nothing suggested work. Would you please take a look at Windows night mode to see if it is being activated when Battlefront 2 is open?

    Go to your Windows night mode settings and disable it. Open Battlefront and then see if WIndows night mode gets activated when the game is open. Let me know how it goes.

    Hi, I don't know how to check this without clicking off the game because it only happens while on it. I can't click out of the game without it reverting to normal. I have also realized that the filter goes away when the game is in borderless mode, so I may have to play that way.

    Also please go to Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Color filters when Battlefront is opened.

    See if the option "Activate color filters" is enabled. If it is, please disable it.

    Also disable the option "Allow the shortcut key to activate or deactivate the filter".

    Let me know how it goes.
