Weird internet disconnection problem when usin my xbox one.

So I have a really weird problem with my internet. I've had my router for about 6 months and everything has worked fine but now I got a problem. I can use my PC however I like but when I go on my xbox and join a group chat or play an online game my internet
disconnects both on my xbox and my PC. Almost immediately I can reconnect to the router with good connection. It's almost like I have a virus in my xbox or something. I've tried resetting my router and my xbox, changed the cables, changed DNS but nothing works.
Also when I run the troubleshooter on the computer it says "DNS is not answering". Thankful for help.

Hello Simon,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. It sounds as if the way the router may be set up, causing issues with the connection when both are connected. Have you tried to factory reset the router and then connect both devices? With router configurations
you will need to refer to the manual or manufacturer.

After trying many things I have found out my Xbox One only keeps shutting down when it is connected to the internet, if I plug in the internet cable or connect using wi-fi it will shut almost immediately, but when it is disconnected from the internet it
will stay on all day....weird.

That is one hell of a weird bug... anyways disconnecting x360 from internet helped lol

Hi there,

When using the forums please quote the full error code message you have received it makes it easier for us to find out what is wrong.

Have you tried disconnecting and then setting up your network again on your xbox?

Disconnecting the power cable from the xbox and then reconnecting it? (sounds weird but it has sorted out an internet problem for me before)

Hello @Tomm_A. I've tried all the suggestions. Unfortunately, the problem hasn't been solved. It's weird cause I see this problem only while playing game with wifi connection. It is almost impossible to play a game 1 hour. It kicks me out due to Xbox live disconnection, since internet drops. It doesn't happen when having wired connection.
