Weird happenings...

So I was just playing Dying Light and was in the middle of the Sibling mission. I had found Rahim and was placing the bombs, when unfortunately for me, I did not make it out of the area in time and was killed. My screen reloaded from "last save" and had
me talking in the train area to Rahim like I had done it. The I had to continue on and try to save Dr. Zere's lab, when, lo and behold, I had 5 seconds left to do that and subsequently ran out of time. So then it forwards me to "The Pits", my screen comes
into focus, and I get kicked in the face and am told I died again. The following moment I awake in the construction site and need to find me belongings in the bag, and so i try to, but then Im not in the site any longer (which was also strange). The orange
"follow me" dot appears on my map with a mission that I had already previously completed from the tower (search the drug store and kill the bandits making bad Antazin). So now, I am very very confused as to what has happened in my game. I suddenly went from
25% complete, to 36% complete, but have old missions to complete again for no apparent reason. Anyone have any idea WTF happened, or what I can do?

I believe you were informed incorrectly. Items disappearing from your account is considered a billing issue, not a preview issue. A preview issue would be something that impacts your gameplay such as not being able to get online or the game or console
crashing, not items disappearing.

However, if you would like to make sure the preview people know about this you should post to the preview forums https://forums.xbox.com/en-CA/forums/6937b0de-f1dc-422c-a331-bdd036790d88_5076b182-0c50-4690-a730-cd...

In the meantime though, you really should continue dealing with phone support in regards to the matter of paid items disappearing from your account.

 

Dude, the EXACT same thing happened to me, word for word. Also, I don't know if you have noticed, but every side quest challenge and repeatable quest have gone to the final stage no matter if I did them or not.

Some of the other issues I am having is the Goons hitting me with their hammer when I am on a building running away! No Goon in sight, I hear the noise and bam I go down, even died that way once, complete ripoff. Also, every time I save I wake up in a new
spot. NEVER wake up in the safe house I quit in. I have even quit in Old Town and woken up in The Slums!

It seems the Xbox One version is a beta version they are letting us test for them, cause the game is about 2 glitches away from being broken. I love the game, but the glitches are so bad it makes me glad I didn't buy and just got it on gamefly...

 

You're delusional SgtGriff28, this is the best version of Dying Light. The PS4 version has more issues than the Xbox One & PC versions, try again fanboy.
