Weird glitch starting up installed game

okay so, it's kinda hard to explain, but I bought my Xbox One used, or refurbished, one of the two. When I got on the games and apps part, there's a section that says "ready to install" and Halo MCC was on it along with a ton of others, a few I had, but
a few I know for a fact I didn't buy. I swear to god I didn't mod or do anything wrong they were just there. This was my account too from my 360 that I had transferred over.

so I download MCC, I play it for a good long while, beat CE anniversary, get halfway through Halo 2, then the update for Backwards Compatibility drops, and forever after that it won't play. It's asking if I "own the game, if not insert the disc" and the
long error code. I've tried hard resetting, every other thing I tried on the list like it said.

The only thing I didn't do was delete and re-install. Will I have to? Cause it's a huge game. Can anyone help?

Weird Glitch

So today i was playing some Madden 25 and then i said "Xbox Home" and it went home and i did some things and then went back to Madden 25 but when i started playing i noticed the outline of my pins and my home page on the screen it was very faint but i could def see it...has anyone else had that problem or is aware of it?

The issue here is that you purchased the console used. Perhaps the original owner got himself a new console and set his tag as Home on it. This would make the games that were on the console unusable by you.

Well, you can always buy the game for yourself now. All of your saved games/achievements will still be there.

Same here! Seems fine after restarting the console. Turn the console on the next day and it does it again. Im on OS version 10.0.22000.4975 if that's any help.

I have a similar issue. The difference is that for me, it never fixes itself. The quick tips stays in the recents slot permanently. Show all apps just has a spinning circle. Only pinned apps and games show at all. Nothing (apps or games) will load. It hangs on the startup screen fot the game or app and then eventually gives an error that it was taking too long to start. Using the restart console option has fixed it eaxh time so far but what a pain to have to do this every time. I have to start the console, then restart the console every time in order for the Series X to be useful. I started a question on here the other day. Just found this question now. Neither question has been given a working solution. Its interesting that this guy got a different console and its still doing the same thing. Hoping that means I dont have a hardware issue.
