    Weird Controller Disconnection Issue

I thought this would be best as a story (didn't even intend on it) - please see it through to the end:

I was able to attach my Turtle Beach Z300 PC gaming headset to the controller with the Audio Adapter and was working fine for about a day. The next day I was playing Advanced Warfare for about an hour and I noticed that the audio in the right ear cup of
my headset had stopped working. The first thing to always try is to turn it off and on again, so I pulled out the audio adapter from my controller and plugged it back in but it only made it worse - there was no audio whatsoever now. So, I followed the same
principle and turned the controller off and on again by holding down the Dashboard button and turning the controller off. When I turned it back on, the controller didn't do anything. There was only the light of the dashboard button. I tried reconnecting the
controller to the Xbox but nothing - the controller stayed unresponsive.

I then contacted Xbox support about the problem and they told me to do this:

" Plug in a USB keyboard to your Xbox One: Clear Persistent storage by going to Settings > Disc and Blu-Ray > Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage. Once done please go to Settings>Network>Advance Settings>Alternate Mac Address>Clear. Then turn the
console off completely by holding the power key for 10-20 seconds. Unplug power supply. After 2 minutes plug the power supply back, turn console on."

Obviously this is very long-winded, but was fine for a one-time thing. I then went out for the rest of the night, feeling quite happy that I fixed my new controller. Then, today happened - I turned on my Xbox in the morning and every 4 hours I would get
the same symptoms as the day before, so I'm wondering:

What is my issue - the controller (came with the Xbox - fine until this issue), the Audio Adapter (bought from a trusted eBay seller who said it was new) or the headset (it can connect to the 3.5mm jack in the front of the Audio Adapter), and how do I permanently
    fix this issue?

If you need any further information or even have a fix, please comment below.

    :)

    Controller disconnection issue

    Hi,

I have my xbox one since like 6 years now and always had the same controller. Two weeks ago I bought a new controller and now I always have a disconnection issue with this controler. I never had this issue with my old controller. I tried every step that
I found on diffrent support forum and I always have the issue.

    What I should do now?

  3. Weird controller issue

    Hey guys,

Wondering if any of you have had this issue. I am able to control my Xbox one with my spare controller when on the dashboard. But when I start up battlefield 4 it won't control anything. My other controllers will work. I have tried updating the controller
and hard resetting the console but no luck.

    Hi there,

it may seem a weird question, but do you have any external storage devices connected to the console? If so, please disconnect those and see if the issue is still happening. I had weird controller issues and dashboard lag etc. which was caused by a failing external storage device.

    Weird Disconnect issue

...It is interesting to note that I will disconnect from EA online and its servers about 60 seconds before I disconnect from XBL entirely...

    [/quote]

This seems not like an Xbox Live issue, if EA as well as LIVE disconnect.

    You could try the following:

On your PC, open up a command prompt.

    Then type there:

    ping -t nfs.ea.com

This should constantly be pinging an EA server, and you should hopefully get rows upon rows of answers with numbers.

Now play on your Xbox. As soon as it disconnects, check if your PC is still pinging, or if there were error messages.

If there were, then the problem is probably your Internet Service Provider or internet line itself.

    Weird Disconnect issue

It could be a problem with your router, have your tried connecting directly to the modem to see if that solves the issue? If not, it might be a faulty modem itself. The only other ideas I can think of would be if your ISP is being finicky or the ethernet
port on your 360 is losing it's luster. I'm sorry to hear you're having connection issues InfernoLord13. Keep us informed on if this information is helpful or not!

    A weird disconnect issue

    Hey there Sipuli!

Appreciate if you could provide us with a little more information. Please read:
    START HERE!
And post back in full detail (the bits that are in bold).

Do you get an error code when being disconnected?

Could you try clear you Xbox system cache. This will remove temporary files from the system cache.

    Here's how!

Make sure your router is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware. Visit the manufactures website to ensure you have the very latest version of firmware.

Log in to your router and make sure UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is turned on.

    Keep us posted!
