Weird account activities

So, I logged on my account tonight... as I do almost daily. But tonight, something weird happen.

Fist, my Gamerpic changed by itself. I had ma photo of my avatar but it was replaced by a weird painting of a white girl with blue hairs and a red nose (it was a creepy artwork, honestly). I search through the preset photo that Xbox gave you if you don't want
to use your own but I didn't saw it... Also, all my sweet little Gamerscore I've worked so hard over the years got erased and replaced by a nice big fat 0G!!! I almost cried.

When I logged on my computer, everything was ok. My achivements was there, my Gamerpic was not that creepy woman.

Thing is that I found a way to get back to my stuff by pure luck. I wanted to take a picture of my profile as proof of what happened... so I got to my profile and clicked on "customise profile" (because the creepy woman got miraculously replaced by my avatar
but my G's weren't there). I unchecked "show my avatar" to get the creepy woman in photo but in doing so, EVERYTHING went back to normal. My G's got back to 38500, my Gamerpic got back to my avatar goofing around and the creepy blue-haired-woman leaved me.

SO ok, everything is normal (for now)

but what the heck happened???

Have I got hacked, Should I worry???

I would recommend to change your password and activate the two step verification. It could be that someone hacked you.

Most likely it's a bug in the system but from what I'm seeing this is not the first time it's happened and they're all creepy pictures. I imagine it's just a group of black hat hackers messing with people.

If you see successful logins from a different ISP and a (vastly) different map location, secure your account (more on that later).

Be aware that the map does not show your home location, but the location where the datacenter of your internet provider is (which can be in a completely different city). So don't be scared if the map doesn't show your home location.

But be concerned, if that map location changes to a different city than the other locations or a completely different country.

As for securing your account:

Go to
https://account.live.com/Proofs/Manage and review your Security Information (i.e. your secondary email or phone numbers). Make sure they are up to date and that a hacker didn't add their own phone number or email. If so, remove any unknown email and phone
number.

Scroll further down and enable Two Step Verification. Then set up the Authenticator App on your smartphone.

With Two Step Verification enabled, also change your password.

After that, your account should now be secure.

It's possible your account got hacked, and I would change your passwords and enhance your security measure such as enabling a two-factor authentication.

I have no idea what's going on at the moment, but from what I've been seeing, you're not the only one experiencing this kind of issue.
