    hi everyone I have been having this problem for month this is nothing to do with me I have tried everything, my webcam does not respond when I power of my xbox in any mode. It will NOT detect my webcam when I turn on my xbox until I unplug it and plug it
    back in, this has been going on for moths I am a computer technician I have been using this webcam fine from the day they added the feature I am not an insider participant this has been happening the last couple of months this are the things I have tried:

    1. Bought a brand new Web cam last week same problem

    2. Reset my mixer account and re added it

    3. Completely formatted my xbox and profile

    4. Cleared persistent storage

    5.tried different USB ports

    6. Removed all other attached hardware.

    This is clearly an xbox software problem are Microsoft aware this problem has plagued a lot of people since February? Any thoughts?.

    Yes a webcam will work with your console. Microsoft recommends Logitech C920 HD Pro or Logitech C922 HD Pro Stream. In the beginning I just used an regular webcam and it worked.
