    Webcam/Headset Audio Desync


    I’m having issues with my audio.

    When I am Twitch Streaming I have always used my chat headset as a mic. I just got a Logitech C922 Pro Stream WebCam and noticed there was a really bad audio desync between the two and a lot of background noise that was never present in my streams before.

    I am using a Wireless Controller with my headset plugges into the controller. The WebCam is plugged into the front USB Port.

    How can I fix this issue?

    How do I set up Audio on the XBox with Mixer?

    are you streaming direct from your xbox with the webcam plugged in? if so then the audio for your stream automatically comes from your xbox, or do you mean audio as in you talking and that wasnt heard? as i am not sure if a mic thats built into
    the webcam is supported, you may have to use a headset for that.
    I am streaming directly from the XBox with webcam plugged in, but I mean the audio as in talking that wasn't heard.

    So if I use a headset, that should potentially solve this issue?

    I assume that using a headset will fix your audio issue. I know that the Kinect camera itself could be used as a microphone, but I don't think the same feature is supported on USB cameras.

    Gotcha, thanks for that.

    I was originally operating under the assumption the audio would be picked up by the webcam and not planning to use the headset, but later this evening I'll fire up the headset and give it a whirl.
