Web page for controller replacement

also to add I am completely sure the serial number is correct as I have verified this device prior to requesting a replacement.

Had a web chat with Xbox support and she confirmed have to initiate another web chat for warranty replacement should I encounter problem with the controller.

I have tried this page a few times and it keeps saying I need to replace the controller, but it is a brand new one.

also is the console on the ready now power as if so then you can possible link it to the pc and do the updates through that using the mobile app to navigate around to try to update.

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. If you wish to request the replacement yourself I would advise you to change the browser or the device you are using and try again; However, you can get your controller exchanged through our online customer
support as well. You will find below the link to our online support, all you need to do is access it, click on the green button that says "contact us" and take it from there.
