Web Page bug? Can not purchase Extended Warranty on New Console.

We have been trying to purchase an extended warranty on a new console for days. The Xbox One and Kinect are registered, all the address information is entered correctly, but when we actually choose to purchase the service plan we get to a point where a
pop up opens up, shows our system/serial number, but the only option is to close the window which brings us back to the address page again. We get no errors, no information at all, but are caught in this circle. Over three days we have tried iPad, 2 windows
8 machines, Surface Pro 3, Windows 7 machines. IE10/11, Chrome, Firefox. Chatting with Xbox support got nowhere, and was actually a little rude to us. We are getting very frustrated as we had just spent over a week getting a Dance Central code issue working
and now this.

So a RUDE Microsoft guy told me they don't sell extended warranties anymore!

They sell extended warranties. You can purchase over the phone or when you go to the submit a repair page there is a purchase extended warranty option. I don't think Microsoft will ever deny warranties for it's products.

You should register your console at
http://myservice.xbox.com to get an official date on your warranty. You can also purchase an extended warranty if you would like

I've been experiencing exactly the same problem for several weeks now. Have tried current Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers, but both have the same problem. Will update this message if I ever get a resolution.

to do this online once you've registered a new console. I just did so for my MW3 console.

While you cannot extend a second time online, I've called in and done so on more than one occasion. My Halo 3 console is still under extended warranty, as is my Resident Evil 5 console.

If they're new you should also look into purchasing an extended warranty when you purchase the console either from the retailer or Microsoft.
