weapon favourites.

Hi.

I normally have my ebony bow as my "d-pad left side" favourite and an ebony shield and an axe as my "d-pad right-side" favourite. But whenever i choose something else briefly from the favourites (d-pad up and down) list, say Magelight, it takes the place
of one of my left or right favourites, then when i'm done with Magelight I have to re-set my left or right favourite...whichever i happened to be holding when i chose Magelight.

Also, it's so hard to set both a shield and an axe (or sword) as right-side favourites. 90% of the time next time you bring up those favourites you only see one, say the shield, then have to try to set it again about 3 or 4 times until it works.

I know you have to select a weapon in the favourites list, then hold down either right or left on the d-pad, but that only lets you set a single weapon....not both an axe
and a shield..

am i missing something?

Favourite Weapon?

Just curious here guys, what is your favourite weapon in Battlefield 3? If possible, try to keep DLC unlocked weapons with core game weapons separate, i.e. make a list of both your favourite game weapon and DLC weapon.

Seeing as I don't own DLC for Battlefield 3 at all, my favourite weapon of all time would be the SG553. It's a very good weapon for the engineer class; I tend to get 3.0 KDR while running around killing in Noshahr Canals.

Eighth Prestige with no favourite weapon --synonymous, of course, with 'my favourite weapon is the Honey Badger-- and no idea Danger Close was four points?

Interesting. I'm almost intrigued as to how deep this goes.

I never did that so I don't know. I just favorite things and the D-pad brings up a list in the bottom left which I select from. The game pauses while in menu so there is time, even in combat, to select what I want. I try to keep the favorites list pared
down to just what I use sometimes and always have my bow and a spell primed. I don't use any other weapon.

Favourite Daedra weapon is the mace of Molag Bal, but my favourite Daedric prince is Malacath, just because I love Orc's and he look's awesome

Use favourites?

Find the spells you like using in the menu, press 'Y' to favourite them. While playing press up on the d-pad to bring up the list of your favourited items\spells then 'A' to select them (as normal you can set which hand you want to use the spell\weapon
in by pressing the LT and RT).

You can favourite anything from spells, weapons to potions so you can access them without having to go into the menu.
