Weak internet WiFi....

Hi fellow gamers and Xbox team its my first time posting on theses forum and new here. Got an issue I need to talk about I hope someone from Xbox team will read this. Well basicly we have internet but the WiFi signal between my console and router is weak
and playing online in not an option for me. Moving the console to be hooked up to ethernet is impossible. I can however sign in to Live okay but I'd rather play games completely offline altogether. My biggest complataint about the XB1 is the need of an internet
connection just to signin to your profile. Without internet the XB1 an profile is useless. Is there a possible way to create a feature for creating offline profiles and to be able to play offline without an internet connection? The Xbox 360 done this really
well my 360 hasn't seen internet for a while but still able to sign in offline and play games offline fine. This issue has been bugging me since I got my XB1 and felt the need to post here. I don't normally complain about consoles but this is ridiculous. The
internet we have is only used for TV a few PC's and android tablets, sometimes Wifi goes offline for a while either our ISP is doing upgrades to there system or to many devices connected. I really hope that someone will read this from the Xbox team as it is
a serious problem for me. There are also people I know who has similar problems. Please import this feature into your dashboard its a serious problem I can't fix all the time. I can't keep my XB1 in offline mode forever ad it will overheat or brake. Thanks

xbox live wifi problem

well i just got my internet today. xfinity and im done setting up my wifi, and my laptops are able to go browse internets, and the signal was strength, but then my xbox has only weak signal, idk why. :/ even my ipad is working, but my xbox is not. help pls!

 

Xbox1 connectivity

It can be that the wifi signal gets weak at the location where you've your Xbox. Does your phone remains connected to internet when its almost at the same location aa your Xbox. Don't just check whether you're still connected to wifi but try to browse
a site. I'm suspecting you may need to invest in a better router that has longer range and can keep the signal strong.

As Genesis1953 said above you can put your console into offline mode or you could just remove your internet settings from the console then it won't connect to the internet at all and go into offline mode that way but obviously if you do this you won't be
able to receive any updates from Xbox to have an updated console

 

if "Moving the console to be hooked up to ethernet is impossible " , then just buy some cable and run TO the console , cat 5 cable is dirt cheap if you get it from the right place...may take a little effort , but WELL worth it....

 

Hi guys thanks for your response and sorry for the late reply. Yeah I've had my XB1 in "Offline Mode" but the annoying thing is that I need internet just to sign into my profile then be able to play in "Offline Mode" each time the console is powered up.
Who ever came up with the idea where its internet only is just stupid and insane. I just wish the features mentioned in my first post was integrated in the next update for the dashboard. Not everyone has internet where I live. Being able to play games totally
offline needs to come back or as an option in the dashboard. Offline mode isn't the anwser! The ability to create offline profiles and use them offline without touching Live or the internet needs to come back please!
