    Beslano, a number of us have repeatedly "Reported the Problem" through the Beta app and updated this thread to say so. Additionally we have clearly described the problem time and again.

    This has nothing to do with signing into the Xbox app - the problem is that the xbox app will not remotely connect to the Xbox one when it's in standby mode.

    Hi ManiacBart, The developers recommend trying the following tips located here:

    www.xbox.com/.../ConnectionFAQ.html
    . It will mention Smartglass but the info works just fine with the Xbox App. Let us know if the info helps or not.

    If the issue continues please report this issue via Xbox App Beta using the "Report a problem" so we have helpful data to request an investigation.

    So is there any update on this issue? I can connect to my xbox as long as it is on but if its powered down, the windows 10 app will not power it back on.

    I have the same issue. It used to work fine months ago, but I haven't tried it until just today and it fails to turn on from the app. I can turnon and do everything fine when I'm physically on the console. My network is sound. Latest updates applied to the
    console and to Windows 10 PC. I am suspecting MS has again introduced a bug into either Windows itself or into the XBOX app. Very annoying struggling with various issues off and on using the Windows 10 XBOX app, I am simply giving up on it. If I play XBOX it
    will be on the console, which I may just move to be closer to my PC workstation to have it share the same monitor. Not precisely ideal, but I hate playing xbox on the TV anyway. Moved the PS4 to my workstation area and am loving it. So, will do same with the
    XBOX. The good thing about doing that is it frees me from really needing Windows on the PC going forward. Moving to a Mac Mini soon.

    Still having this issue. I have 4 different windows PC's/Surfaces that I can test with, wired or wireless 98% I cannot turn on my xbox with the app. It used to work great, last few updates just wrecked it. Very frustrating as the streaming aspect was one
    of the main reasons I bought this xbox.

    The windows 10 xbox app updated to 22.24.1006 today and fixed my remote start issue using XB1S over wireless.
