We want voice messages

A lot of people I talk to want the voice messaging like the 360 has please. Also, ability to voice message and party chat between the one and the 360.

Party Chat and Voice messages

It's better to prevent someone from sending you a voice message in the first place than it is for the other person to send you a voice message that you instantly delete. I don't want to receive voice messages! Period!

If Microsoft adds them back, I want the ability to disable receiving of voice messages.

we need voicemail

It's sad you don't have lots of friends peps on Xbox Live WHO have sent you voice messages. And from my experience hardly any of them are from "uninteligable kiddies" or those just looking for clan invites. Fair enough if you want or don't want voice messages.
I suppose M doesn't want "uninteligable kiddies" on Xbox 1 since you can't voice message (yet).

Sorry, But as of right now there is no option for voice messaging, it is a feature we may see in the future. If you want to send typed messages faster, you can download the smartglass app on your IOS or android device and use the keyboard on that to send
messages.

Voice Messages are NOT needed. (see it's not so black and white, is it?)

(People that are my real friends send me Skype voice messages or actually pick up the phone)

Voice messages may not be "needed" but, as is pretty obvious since the subject seems to keep coming up, they ARE very much so wanted. (so no... it isn't so black and white.)

BTW, people that are my real friends have absolutely zero bearing on whether I do or do not want voice messages from them, be it on XBL or not. I want voice messages back. Whether
they are from my 'real friends' or not is completely irrelevant.

bird, just wanted to point out that even with voice messages, if we had them on the XB1, you would STILL have to stop playing your game to record and send it.
