@Fatal its not entirely true that people dont type abusive messages. I received one from a forum user because I dont share his opinion on a baseball game for Xbox One. Even told me I was stupid and to go kill zombies. I dont even like zombies

I received 60/40 hostile Voice Messages/Text last generation. What I did was delete any Voice Messages from a random person while I am playing MP. If they wanted to be your friend, usually a Friend Request would follow the Voice Message, or Vice Versa.

Voice messages may not be "needed" but, as is pretty obvious since the subject seems to keep coming up, they ARE very much so wanted. (so no... it isn't so black and white.)

BTW, people that are my real friends have absolutely zero bearing on whether I do or do not want voice messages from them, be it on XBL or not. I want voice messages back. Whether
they are from my 'real friends' or not is completely irrelevant.

2. Well that has no chance of being abused.

3. Again, I can't of anyone who would abuse that.

And there you have it. I feel they will most likely leave 2/3 of those out of the equation.

1. I will beat this drum until implemented. It makes no sense, to not have a feature that was on our predecessor during the 7th Generation, yet we are now the ones without it. What kind of logic is that?

2. Easily abused, and it was when you could use it last gen.

3. Not a bad idea, there are just a million users that will use it incorrectly.
