    I think for a game like this they would be better off making the outbreak the tutorial before you hit the main world. Otherwise later adopters would miss out.

    We need a real survival open world zombie game:

    Dying Light will be as close as we can get for awhile. If they can nail the nighttime mode down then I'll be happy. From all the gameplay I've seen they were very hesitant to mess with any zombies. It did really feel as if they were a threat and your chance
    of living was slim.

    Also DAY Z is so overrated ,lifeless buggy world running on a ancient game engine,zombies are so rare its a joke, just shows PC elites will play any garbage , lol they mainly still play lame source games allday on ther uber rigs...

    Heh, I really like post apocalyptic worlds in general, especially if you add the scrounge/survival aspect (Fallout is great about that in the beginning but gets too easy to have supplies when you level up enough).

    Why not go all out? Have an alien-zombie apocalypse hybrid! Aliens invade & anyone they kill gets infected with an alien disease that reanimates them as the unliving. Now the aliens (who are now stranded) & the remaining humans fight for survival against
    each other & the those that are already dead over what's left. That would be epic!
