We need a better source for updates on issues like last night.

I mean I follow Major Nelson but he doesn't update much per day and the Xbox support twitter feeds, (all 5 of them), are about as dumb as the customer service reps that tell you to unplug your xbox power cord to fix the controller not turning on...lol.
I found out by word of mouth about the live issue and just wondered if there is another source for live updates...besides the live status page. I'd also like to hear them say what happened or how they plan to fight the recent attacks from happening every 2
weeks throughout 2015. So far, they're pretty mum...just like their response to most of sony's announcements and cracks they take at them...(zing!)

Xbox one BF4 crashing today

Nothing surprises me with this game no-more.

I'm starting to believe what a "source" posted on Twitter last month, that the game was so broken on release that it can't be fixed properly with updates, it needs to go back and be properly done.

It's weird though, like previous BF4 updates, it makes it better for some, others worse, again nothing surprises me as it's EA/DICE we are talking about.

 

New Xbox Experience - appear offline?

Anyone else having issues with Netflix? After another update last night, my Netflix has been jittering and getting a green screen.

Also, I like how we get notifications when games are updated now.

 

It does tell you in network settings on xbox 1

 

1. Nice to see an Ambassador slam a official support of Xbox (classy)

2. It's updated on their website. Even tells you to check back in 30 minutes for updates.

3. There is a spot you can enter a phone number for them to text or call you when it's fixed.

4. As mentioned above it's shown right on your screen.

5. They don't have to tell you anything. You agree to the terms when you sign up.

How many different options do you need?

 

I was meaning this as a question of am I missing a source for updates...but whatever gets ya off on attacking ppl on here. And the support in India has nothing to do with ambassadors. The days of RROD were horrible trying to to explain what you needed help
with. It's not a matter of them "oweing" me anything...it's a matter of do they let us know about what is going on real time and if so, where can I find that source. That is all...thanks for playing.

Meh, I think the system in place works fine. It wouldn't let me log on, checked network settings on my Xbox One and it told me services were down. That's ultimately all you need to know, maybe a little more detail would be nice but it's not a perfect world.

 

no worries, thanks for the input guys. Maybe I just like the twitter updates of other apps and service that i use and wish for the live service to get the same kind of support...Maybe they could hire me on and I could put out the updates...I have free time
at night, lol.
