  1. We have lost your TV signal.

Every time I turned my TV/XBOX on in the morning or if I change my sky box channel but mainly to 615 (Nick jr.) or even after watching a recorded programme in the Sky planner I would see this message, this message which would vary from 5 seconds all the
way up to me having to reset the Xbox One as it just wouldn't let me watch TV.

Now I have been playing around with settings & cables on both the Xbox One and Sky+HD Box. I also have UK Sky with a Samsung TV. Now since I have changed all the setting I have had no issues and I don't know if it is one or all the things I have done but
    hopefully this will help UK/European Xbox One owners to watch their Tv in 1080i/p at 60Hz like I am. Ok So now for my Settings;

    Sky + HD Box

    Go to settings

    Picture Settings

    Scart/RF1 Picture Format - 16:9

    RF2 Picture Format - 16:9

    Scart Control - On

    Scart Video Output - RGB

    HD Resolution Output - 1080i

    Sound Settings

    Audio Output - Stereo

Digital Audio Output Optical - Dolby D

Digital Audio Output HDMI - Dolby D

Digital Audio Output Delay - 0ms

    Xbox One

    Settings ---- Display & Sound

    Display

    TV resolution - 1080p

    TV connection - HDMI

    Video Fidelity

Colour Depth - 36 bits per pixel

Colour Space - TV (RGB Limited)

Allow 50Hz refresh rate - Unchecked (Not used)

    Digital Audio

    HDMI audio - Bitstream out

    Optical audio - Bitstream out

Bitstream format - DTS Digital Surround

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Back to the home screen.

    Settings ---- Power & Startup

    Power mode - instant on

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Back to the home screen

Settings ---- TV & One Guide

    Audio & Video

    HDMI - connected

Refresh rate - 60Hz (I know sky is set to 50Hz but it works for me)

    Audio - Surround sound

Go back to TV & One Guide

    Device control

Tv - Samsung (remote code T2051)

Cable or satellite box - Sky UK (remote code S1662)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Apart from these settings I have changed the HDMI cables that came with both the Xbox One and the Sky + HD boxes and I have replaced this with two
gold plated High speed HDMI with Ethernetand since then I have no issues
with my Xbox One, no black screen with we have lost you TV signal displayed and no blue or blank black screen whilst the Xbox is trying to display the programme I am watching on Sky. I hope this helps others as my Xbox one is now working with my Sky/ TV exactly
how I imagined when I first purchased the Xbox One.

    :)

We have lost your TV signal.

I had similar problems but they were gone after I set my sat box to permanent 720p output and 50hz is also working fine

I have had same problems, I think it was 'TV connection' mine was set to 'Auto-detect' I have since changed it to HDMI-1080p and its been ok since. I also changed to 60hz and un-ticked the 50hz.

    Thanks guys

Mines started doing it again!! Now it does it as well as above when I change the channel when flicking through sky TV to find what's on. I am going to try buy another new HDMI cable see if that cures it.

    Your TV signal was lost...

Just to note that my #1 no longer seems to work. #2 still does but is mighty inconvenient when your DVR happens to be recording and you can turn it off. What a frustrating device this has been.
