We deserve a $100 credit in return

I myself like lots of loyal Xbox players bought the Xbox One, Microsoft was saying all these advertisements about how great the Xbox one Kinect was so great and useful,

Now Microsoft ends up coming out with an Xbox One without the Kinect saying that the Xb1 is stronger without the Kinect and made it $100 cheaper for an Xbox one without the Camera " Kinect"

What do I and lots of loyal Xbox fan's get? A paperweight where the games for it sucks and lots of players don't use,

I'm trying to be polite here and saying that I believe the Xbox community and I deserve a $100 Credit for getting the shaft of buying an Xbox one with Kinect when told it would be so great, Maybe for family use but most gamers usually like to play on a couch
or with friends, Most friends don't want to play together in front of a Kinect that doesn't pick up movement as great as portrayed by Microsoft,

now I still love my Xbox one but I want a $100 credit for me and other Xbox one players that got pretty much tricked into buying a Xbox one with false advertisements and a lot of players thought it would be a great camera as MS says,

I bet lots of players cannot afford to buy a stronger xbox just because it doesn't have a Kinect, Same as me, I feel like I was talked into buying a xbox one thinking Kinect would be great the way MS said so,

Then MS says that we never needed Kinect and lowers the price of xbox one in store and removes the Kinect that we paid $100 more for,

please give out a $100 credit to players that pretty well got this shaft, If MS has any Honor or dignity in life and want to keep a great gaming community they will consider on helping out the community that lines their pockets everyday =/

As an American, all I ask is that when giving us the blame we deserve for the bad things we do, you also give us the credit we deserve for all the good that we do. I think, if you're fair, you'll find the good far out-weighs the bad. That said, I don't
agree with our surveillance state or the way Snowden has been treated.

 

So you deserve a credit for jumping the wagon and buying a device early? right after launch? I am going to guess you were *** about the titanfall bundle pack as well.

It was your choice to buy a device early, and not wait. Starting a thread like this isn't really going to go anywhere at this point.

I don't think I'm entitled to anything, I just bought a xbox one where ms was saying at the time that their not getting rid of Kinect at all then I pay for the xbox one and don't use the Kinect then a few months later they say we never needed the Kinect
in the first place and come out with xbox one for $100 off without a Kinect,

I don't like paying that much for something where ms said they are not getting rid of a feature then turn around after they have their money and switch it to another topic where they say we never needed an item we paid $100 extra for.

especially when it sounds that it would make the xbox one stronger,

Anyways I talked to a rep and he told me it doesn't make it stronger but their may be a update in the future to make the console stronger its self anyways,

mainly this thread is somewhat how I feel about paying $100 for a item that we never needed even though they were making it sound like its a must have for the console its self.

I have a bad knee and cannot jump around in front of a camera so why did I pay $100 more for the Kinect because MS insisted that their not changing the idea of not having Kinect in the first place

 

The Kinect is so much more than jumping around in front of it. I use mine solely for voice commands. When Phil Spencer took over, he changed the direction with the Xbox. The Kinect really is a must have. It loses a lot of features without the Kinect.
I understand the console might gain 10% more power without it, I'd still prefer to have the Kinect.
