We couldn't sign you to Xbox Live Minecraft bug

    Hi there Sopraclash 4.

I am Lumie and I would love to assist you today.

I am so sorry you are having issues connecting online.

    Here are some troubleshooting steps:

Ensure your device is connected to the internet.

Restart your router or switch to a different network if possible.

    Update Minecraft:
Ensure that your game is up to date. Check for any available updates in your app store or game launcher.

    Check Xbox Live Account:
Ensure that your Xbox Live account is active and not banned or suspended.

Sign in to your account on the Xbox website to verify there are no account issues.

    Reinstall Minecraft:
Uninstall Minecraft from your device and then reinstall it. This can sometimes fix connectivity issues.

    Clear Cache:
Clear the cache on your console or device where Minecraft is installed. For consoles, this often involves restarting the console. For PCs, you might need to clear specific game cache files.

    Firewall and Security Settings:
Check your firewall and security settings to ensure they are not blocking Minecraft or Xbox Live services.

    I hope this helps.

I shall be here for your response. -Lumie

Minecraft for Windows: "We couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live"

Hello, Kylyda. I'm Arturo, a community user like you, and I'll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today.

Based on the information you provided, I would like to suggest the following potential solutions.
(Skip the ones you already tried)

    1. Run the Gaming Services repair tool. Please click below, expand the field that says “Downloadable version” and follow the steps.
    https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/gaming-services-repair-tool

    2. Search “Services” by using the Windows search functionality and look for the following services:

    IP Helper
    Xbox Live Auth Manager
    Xbox Live Game Save
    Xbox Live Networking Service
    Gaming Services

For each service: Right-click on the service > Properties.
In Startup Type, set the service to Automatic.

If the service isn’t started, click Start > Apply > OK to save changes, restart your PC and try again.
Note: In case GamingServices can't be modified, skip that one.

    3. Perform a clean boot in your PC, once restarted, try again.
You can follow the steps for the clean boot process, by clicking here:

    https://support.microsoft.com/topic...-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd

    4. Right-click on the Windows button and select PowerShell (run as an administrator).
Then, run the following command: (You may want to copy and paste the entire command)

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_. InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}.

This command can take a while to end, but when the process ends, you should be able to type in the PowerShell window.
After that, please restart your computer and try again.

    5. Create a new local user on your PC. Then test if you have the same outcome or not.

I'll look forward to hearing your comments.

    Regards,

    Arturo.
