"We couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live"

This^ error keeps popping up despite everything. I went onto the companion app thinking i'm not signed in, i wasn't. Thought that was the end of it, tried to sign in.. same error. Same with Xbox pc app. I saw on a different forum to sign in to the site and it'll give you instructions if there's something wrong with your account or sm similar. Signed in on the microsoft page no problem, it's jus the app, companion and minecraft.

I did look at other forums and tried to click a link sent by an employee that redirected you to steps to help but got an error code instead.

Minecraft was working not too long ago, maybe a month or two. I did download mods so maybe that's interfering? I use Overwolf to manage them and download them through there, the launcher was working fine too because i played on a world even after using the mods on overwolf.

I believe everything is up to date, i'm not a big brain i just wanna play minecraft

*edit : Overwolf IS still working, i can play if i launch a mod through the app but the actual minecraft launcher requires me to log in but i keep getting that ^ error

FIX 3: Restart Xbox service

Another solution to get rid of the “We Couldn’t Sign You Into Xbox Live Error” message is restarting the Xbox app service. For doing so, follow these steps,

• Press Windows + R altogether to open the RUN dialog box, type ‘services.msc’, and press OK.
  
• Inside the Services window, select and right-click on Xbox Accessory Management services, Xbox Live Auth Manager, Xbox Live Game Save, Xbox Live networking service and select Restart option from the drop-down menu.
