    Ok So I recently bought this game called "Grounded" through Steam and I need to sign in with an Xbox Live account.

    This is my first time using Xbox Live so I had to create one (already have a Microsoft Account) but whenever I try to choose my online name and click on Create Account in the Xbox app I get the following message "We couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live" And
    get error 500

    Tried it in the Microsoft edge browser as well and I get an error message "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later."

    have also tried all of the possible fixes and none seem to work
