  1. ‘WE COULDN’T SIGN YOU IN TO XBOX LIVE’ error message when signing in to Xbox App on PC!


    I am trying to play Xbox games on PC via the Xbox app, this has always worked just fine on my PC and was working fine just this morning.

    I don’t know exactly what caused the issue, first I couldn’t load up any games (Sea of Thieves or Manor Lords or Starfield, none worked) as it gave me the error message, I then signed out of live on the app and am now locked out.

    This only occurs on the Xbox app on PC, I can sign in everywhere else, (other devices, the app on my phone, on my Xbox etc..)

    I have tried every possible fix I could find online, repairing Xbox services apps, clean booting, syncing date & time, resetting Microsoft store, etc.. nothing has seemed to work..

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, as it’s impossible to get in contact with Microsoft

    Hey there -

    What is the specific error message or code (XBOS-0000 or 0x00000000) that you are running into when you try to sign into your Xbox One console after singing into your Windows 10 PC Xbox app? Are you able to sign into your Xbox Live account on console if
    you are not signed into your PC's app?

    Giving us a bit more information will help. :)

    - Go to Settings.

    - Select Network Settings.

    - Select Advanced Settings

    - Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

    - Select Clear.

    - Allow the console to restart when prompted.

    - Try the game again

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble sending Xbox Live messages! So that we can best help out, can you please clarify what happens when you try to send a message from your Xbox console? Is there a particular error message? Or is it the same message you're seeing
    when signing in from a PC.

    Can't sync data with the cloud.

    I signed out on Microsoft Store App, and then signed back in using the same Microsoft account, but I cannot sign in on Xbox App it says, "We couldn't sign you in to Xbox live " and gives this error number: 0x8015DC0B.
