    Pulling my hair out tbh.

    I have bought Minecraft for Windows using the same MS account I have Office with for my family. Everything went well until I wanted to play the game I receive the error: "We couldn't sign you in to XBOX Live" err: 0x87DD0005. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the xbox app on my laptop, same issue. I've visited multiple pages offering various solutions, I've tried them all and I simply cannot get my xbox app on my windows laptop to connect to my MS account.

    I can log into my MS account no issues on the windows MS Store app, on XBOX.com, and account.microsoft.com.

    To make matters worse, there doesn't appear to be any support for this issue, MS takes $40 of my money, there is no return option, no help ticketing system, no online chat, no ability to call anyone (I'm in Aus). Support is woefully lacking and I feel like I've been ripped off.

    Has anyone got any ideas or a way of actually talking to or emailing someone to help sort this out?

    Hi BonnetDeDouche! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

    Please, first go to settings section of the PC then on Windows Update please click on check updates, install all available updates even the optional ones

    After that go to Microsoft store app and then click on your library then press on get updates

    After this please install the console companion app, then log in there, if this fails try using a different account to log in

    You could also try to reset all Xbox apps in the system

    Step 1: Open the Settings app. This can be done by clicking its icon in the Start menu or simultaneously pressing Windows logo + I.

    Step 2: Click the Apps category icon and then click Apps & features to see all installed apps as well as classic desktop programs.

    Step 3: Click on the app that you want to reset to see the Advanced options link. Click on the same (advanced options link).

    Step 4: Finally, click the small Reset button. When you click the Reset button, you will find a small dialog box with “This will permanently delete the app’s data on this device, including your preferences and sign-in details.” Click the Reset button in the opened dialog box to reset the app.

    Step 5: Once the Reset is done, you will see a check sign next to the Reset button. And restart the Pc
