    We couldn't get your latest saved data error


    This just started happening yesterday. I tried starting up Middle-Earth Shadow of Mordor and Forza Horizon 2, and neither would get to the main menu. Eventually after a few power cycles I was able to get to the title screens where it would say "We couldn't
    get your latest saved data error" and give the option to Try Again, or Continue Offline. Try Again doesn't work, but Continue Offline does, but of course, I can only play offline then. I then tried this with Forza 5 and Madden 15. Forza 5 can't get the latest
    save data either, and Madden wouldn't start at all because it needed an update. It then takes me to the update screen, but says "There was a problem with the update, Madden NFL 15 needs an update, but something went wrong...". I went through all the troubleshooting
    for system updates except for the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool, and I can't find the problem anywhere.

    "We couldn't get your latest saved data" error

    I'm getting this error constantly when launching any game. I've already done the following:

    Check the service status. Microsoft says it's fine.

    Signed out of my profile and signed back in.

    Tested the network connection. Xbox says it's all good.

    Hard rebooted the console.

    Error still shows up constantly. How can I fix this?

    Have you tried power cycling your console? Hold the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps the issue.

    I've gone through and tried the Test Multiplayer Connection and it can't get a Teredo IP address. I then press the triggers and bumpers for the NAT details and it says my network is behind a firewall or not connected. I don't have a firewall up, and I'm
    connected to my network, so I have no idea what's going on. On top of that, I cleared my alternate MAC address and upon restart, I got a black error screen saying to contact support in yellow in like 10 languages with some numbers on the bottom that I forgot
    to write down. I powered the system off and turned it back on and it booted up fine, but I still can't get my NAT working.

    Also, my NAT status doesn't even show up in the Network settings. It just shows my network name and "All services are available"

    Sorry to hear that it's still now working. I had an issue with one of the games today where it wouldn't start. I searched online and found out that if you go to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray and clear the Persistant Storage 3 times it would solve the issue.

    I was a little bit skeptical when I tried it but it worked. Please give that a try on your consoles. You never know, it may solve your issues as well.

  10. I'm getting the same thing..my games are all digital downloads, and this seems to be happening on other apps too..Netflix for instance. I have an IP, when I test network and multiplayer connections, it says they're working, I can't see my pins or my friends
    list, and every app or game I launch says Syncing data and then it fails and offers to let me use it offline. I've tried power cycling my modem and router and console. Also, oddly, even though I can't view my friends list, when they come online, I get a
    notification pop up. So, obviously, I'm connected to the internet and live service, it just seems to not be fully functional.

    I cant sync data on anything from my games to twitch and you tube. Its annoying cause everytime I start up you tube I have to retype in search what I want. I think this is a error on microsofts end. Their cloud server is on the fritz and lets hope they know
    about it.

    What Crap service! I've spent thousands of dollars on Microsoft and Xbox over the years and after hearing about all the bugs with this system I contemplated switching to Sony (not that they would be any better!). I stayed loyal and now it takes 3 or 4
    tries to get my games to link up to the content through the live service. I'm hard wired with Cox high speed internet.
