    Im trying to purchase in-game credits on the Xbox store and it says I cannot purchase it with Microsoft points because they couldn't get authorization. Normally I would see this with a credit card but I don't see what they have to authorize with regular
    points, help please.

    Maybe you’re in the wrong region with the wrong currency or your current amount in your wallet doesn’t match the amount needed.

    Using account credit should be fine. It may be a temporary service issue.

    You could contact Xbox Support here support.xbox.com/contact-us choosing account in step 1 then Other in the next step for the chat option to appear. They will be able to tell if they're is perhaps a block on your account.
