We couldn't find a Xbox One console with the IP address provided.

So my Xbox One was connected and was working ok. Then couple days ago it couldn't connect with the Xbox app. I turned my Xbox on myself but in the app it still just said turn on. So I deleted it and went to connect it but I just get "We couldn't find a Xbox
One console with the IP address provided." When I put in the Xbox One's IP address that's listed on the console in Network settings. Is there anything else I can do? I was going to try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it but I don't see a uninstall option.
Even when i go to the apps listing in Windows 10 the uninstall for the Xbox app doesn't do anything.

So I'm trying to stream my Xbox to my Windows 10 laptop. But it won't connect. I've done the steps everyone says to do: make sure they are both on the same sub network, hard reset of laptop and Xbox, clear MAC address. I don't know what else to do and I would
love some help/answers!

I had the same issue. I did hard reset my xbox and restarted my computer and it showe up in the list to connect it.

Try going into your modem and reset it to factory settings if you have a firewall reset that to factory settings this has worked for me after months of searching for a fix for this issue

Are the following 2 options enabled on your console?

Under This Xbox, select Allow game streaming to other devices.
Under Other devices, select Allow connections from any device or
Only from profiles signed in on this Xbox.

Also, check to make sure AP isolation is not enabled on your router settings - which it should not by default.

To fix mine that was doing the same thing I went into the router settings by putting the IP address (Gateway) into the address bar. I updated the router and under the wireless settings I changed the bandwidth from 20/40MHz to 20MHz
(I read online that this is recommended for a 2.4GHz network). Now it works fine.
