I started using this app after upgrading to Windows 10 a few weeks ago. I was impressed (at first) then the same issue happened and I can't seem to fix it (simply will not see my xbox on my network and there is nothing wrong with my settings). Tried everything
here and nothing. Seems this issue has persisted for several months. Do the xbox/msft dev teams have any plans to prioritize this at all? I don't mean to sound unappreciative of the effort but why bother delivering an app like this to your users and then taking
months to fix what is a real issue. Not being able to connect to your console defeats the purpose of this app - its a core feature.

Point being - can we get a real update here?

XBox App Not working once IP address changed

I used Powershell to uninstall the xbox app and then reinstalled it. Still have the same issue.

We get the Add a device screen, it shows our xbox and I click connect. We then get We couldn't connect to your console. Make sure the console is still on and connected to the same network as this device.

As usual, I can ping the xbox without a problem.

Can't Connect To Xbox One On Xbox App

Before I couldn't connect to Xbox One On The Xbox App On The Windows 10 PC it worked and had no problems but then about 2days ago I couldn't connect to my xbox one and my xbox one is connected to the same network and everything the error says this: "We couldn't
connect to your console. Make sure the console is still on and connected to the same network as this device." I have it on and connected to the same network. But for some reason it won't connect, It was working fine the other day so, Does anyone have any suggestions
on how to fix this?

 

hi, I have some issues with x1 last 2-3 day also. I can start streaming when console is on. When its off cannot wake it up. as an temporary solution you can reset your network card setting ( e.g. I changed settings from dynamic IP to statics ) and this help
to boot xbox console from xbox app. I have wired connection.

Seems issues appears when console is power off for long time.

 

ops I was wrong. I does not works for me even for short period of power off console

Hi there. I got myself an Xbox One a few days ago, and I've been getting this error randomly when trying to stream to my W10 desktop. Sometimes my console will turn on just fine, sometimes I will get absolutely no response and get this error. It's far
from the worst of problems to have, but it is certainly inconvenient. My console is on a local wireless connection, I am certain my settings are set to Instant On (I also tried cycling that setting), and I don't appear to be using the beta app.

Ok, I am having the same issues and have spent hours trying to fix it and hours with microsoft chat.

My streaming was working up until after a day or two after the Xbox Win10 updated look. Now when I sign into the app, it doesn't even see my Xbox One. On a very RARE occasion it will be there again, but I cannot connect to it. I have power cycled my Xbox,
my router, my PC, I have all the streaming enabled on my Xbox, I am hard wired to my PC and Xbox, and I still cannot get it to work.

Here is a weird thing, My buddy rents my basement, I can see HIS Xbox when I go to connect, both were showing up a few days ago and now just his.

When question for those who CANNOT even see your Xbox in the list, check your "Connected Devices" on your PC... It shows my Xbox One connected under "Play Devices". THis is odd is it not? Just the app having issues seeing certain Xbox systems it seems...
please fix.. I stream on Twitch (MalcolmCICWF) and this is a vital part of my gaming and streaming.

Same problem for me, both Beta and non-Beta versions of the app. Was working fine until the NXOE update. Had I known streaming would not be supported in NXOE I would have opted to not update at all. Very frustrating.

 

I didnt even know there was a BETA version... I am playing on teh Xbox App that was installed with my Windows 10. It is version 11.11.19012.00000

Randomly again today, My Xbox Finally is seen by the app and I was able to connect. Now The issue is Party Chat STILL does not work. I try to connect to multiple friends and each time it gives me "Your Network Settings are Block Chat [0x89231806]". Well
my NAT settings are open and I can party chat fine from my Xbox... cannot connect to others on Xbox via the app.

I'm having the same problem. Things were working well. I hadn't tried to connect for about 2 weeks and now things aren't work. I had updated Windows 10 on my laptop. I think things had been working fine after the major Xbox One update where things flow
more from top to bottom vs. left to right.

I'm using the Xbox App (not the beta one). I'm hardwired in. I've hard reset everything. My Xbox connects just fine to the Internet directly. I can no longer stream for some reason.
