    Hate to break it to you champ, but those terms and conditions aren't absolute. Do you know how many class action law suits are filed and won or settled despite the terms. Its called a "contract of adhesion" and they don't always stick. My point wasn't
    to dispute the terms of the service agreement. Its a gripe against constant outages.

    But thanks for the insight.

    I swear XBox Live is down at least once a month which means I can't access online games, video streaming services, or other services I may pay a fee for, such as Sling TV. My concern is that if I pay for a yearly subscription to XBox LIve, but I don't receive
    a year of service. Please add one day of service to my plan for every day that XBox Live is down. If I miss a payment, XBox Live denies me service. If XBox doesn't deliver it's service, it seems fair that the the consumer should get something in return.
    Or maybe I should have bought a PS4.

    I live in a country(Algeria) which is not officially supported by the service and I have yet to experience this issue .

    Xbox live is up and running over here .

    How long will this go on? Xboxlive went down about 230ish pm. It's now 7;05 pm and still no fix. Will my account be compensated ? I Pay by the year. A little something wouldn't hurt.Maybe something added to Online elder scroll?

  5. I really do think they should refund every single person with extra live because of the lack in keeping there network up we as customer's pay for this service and do not expect constant outages instead of concentrating on the new ui i think Microsoft need
    to sort there network out.

    There is no where in there term's of condition what say';s that there will be 2-3 outages a months come on microsoft try spending the money you are racking in on the network

  6. For those of you posting messages that you can't connect, its because they're down "again."

    This is nothing new and those of us who have been using Xbox Live for 12 years know that this is a common occurrence with Microsoft servers.

    The one day that you have time to play or your parents give you permission to play and you're unable to, think of this as a learning experience.

    One day we'll all learn that Microsoft Server Engineers have no clue as to what they're doing and so we, the people that pay their salaries are the ones to suffer.

    Microsoft - Its called Q&A testing, latency testing, client/server testing and learning more about virtual servers so that when one of your servers goes down, the other virtual servers will pick up the jobs of the downed server and the rest of us won't suffer
    because of your lack of education.

    I think its time to learn more about Playstation 4 and stop feeding Microsoft our millions of dollars to pay for their inadequacies.

    There is a section in the service agreement which talks about outages occurring.

    For those saying "Playstation doesn't have these issues" yes they do, every online service does.

    For those asking for a compensation, is it really worth it ? Do the math

    You can get Xbox Live gold for roughly 45$/€ or which ever local currency

    45,00/365= 0,123...

    Would you really care about a 13 cent compensation ?

    "But I payed 60$ for a year"

    60,00/365=0,164 still nothing

    This issue should be resolved now, if you haven't, try signing back into Xbox Live. If you have any trouble signing in, please power cycle your console by holding the power button for 10 seconds (or until your console powers off), wait 30 seconds and power
    it back in.

    If you're still having any trouble connecting to Xbox Live, please let us know.

  9. I would like a refund as this is not the only time Microsoft neglectfully have not maintained there network getting sick and tired of paying for a service like PSN when there network went down i sued them and swooped to Xbox and now it's going down the same
    road instead of releasing this that and the other try concentrating on the network side of thing's as download speeds are ridiculous.

    i would like proof of these 300.000 server's yeah right there is not one in the U.K the nearest one's to the UK is Ireland and the neatherlands's

    Ok, I was finally able to log into my profile. At first I only had my home screen available, no pins nor anything else. But after logging out and back in after a few minutes everything was available. HOWEVER, just because I'm in now doesn't mean whatever
    the issue was is resolved. Since I was logged in when it happened the first time its possible I'll be auto logged out again. What was the issue and is there something I can do to keep it from happening again?

    I love paying for a service and only being able to use it 50% of the time. Makes me feel like a "valued" customer. I WAS signed in and playing on my one when I was kicked off and told I could no longer sign in. This is not the first time, nor the second
    or third time this has happened. Seems to happen 1 or 2 days a week. They did something similar to me on 360. Kicked me off when in the middle of a download which caused corrupt data and crashed my hard drive. Support told me it was not THEIR fault that THEY
    kicked me offline for a forced update and crashed my xbox. So to anyone reading this. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING XBOX!!! (If u haven't already) You will NOT get your money's worth. Unless headaches are currency.

    ok why does xbox live have an issue every week or so i dont understand? this is irritating. i cant sign in to my profile so i pretty much cant do anything. does playstation or pc have this many issues? i know they do but not as much as xbox does. we pay
    for a service that goes down all the time and its not like we can get our money back or else our xboxs are just useless really. so we spend money on a console then money on game and then on live and we cant even use it? i think microsoft needs to get better
    servers or get better teams to keep it running PROPERLY. i hope im not the only one who feels this way. sorry about the rant but lets be serious if a server at a restruant gave me this kind of service, i might stiff them or at the very least a crappy tip
