Reckon they had been working on it, because MGS V kept kicking me out of my offline game as it would briefly connect and drop, forcing the game to reload as new. Very frustrating, but I reckon we probably get 3-4 9's uptime but only really feel the outages.

It would be interesting if cloud providers of any sort were legally obliged to give regional and global uptime reports each year.

Thanks to the Microsoft app, cloud, or network folks who rectified this. Hope it can be root caused and recurrence prevented.

I cannot connect to Xbolive with Xboxone. When I check connection specifics my packet loss is 88%. According to Xbox website it is only the "Core services" that are out, what does that mean? Are they trying to say that multiplayer gaming is down? No ETA
when will be back up, could it be forever? How's PlayStation online service's reliability and communication?

 

So if Live were to be down for a week straight, you don't think Microsoft could be held liable? You're out of your mind. I don't care what that agreement says, that agreement is not above the law.

I love paying for a service and only being able to use it 50% of the time. Makes me feel like a "valued" customer. I WAS signed in and playing on my one when I was kicked off and told I could no longer sign in. This is not the first time, nor the second
or third time this has happened. Seems to happen 1 or 2 days a week. They did something similar to me on 360. Kicked me off when in the middle of a download which caused corrupt data and crashed my hard drive. Support told me it was not THEIR fault that THEY
kicked me offline for a forced update and crashed my xbox. So to anyone reading this. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING XBOX!!! (If u haven't already) You will NOT get your money's worth. Unless headaches are currency.

 

Haha has anyone else see the new "update". It says the same cap it did 2 plus hours ago....

 

Pffft. That's just ridiculous. The money it cost you for the very few hours its down was what,a 100th of a penny? MAYBE? If that? Use that money and time to get a life outside your video game. Not enough to do so? Then you shouldn't whine about being compensated
for it. Again this "demand" I'd just ridiculous.

 

Considering we pay for a time-based service (monthly subscription), it's only fair we're compensated for the time we aren't able to use the service because you guys are incompetent to fix this outage in an acceptable time frame.

I want to hear from an authorized person as to what will be the compensation, please. Thanks.

 

Ok, I was finally able to log into my profile. At first I only had my home screen available, no pins nor anything else. But after logging out and back in after a few minutes everything was available. HOWEVER, just because I'm in now doesn't mean whatever
the issue was is resolved. Since I was logged in when it happened the first time its possible I'll be auto logged out again. What was the issue and is there something I can do to keep it from happening again?

 

So I know there's currently an issue with the Xbox live log in, but I was still able to play Power Star Golf offline. I'm in the middle of a career match literally 2 holes in and all of a suddon I get a popup saying "good bye Jason". And then because it
logged me out of the console the game reset back to the main screen due to account change. I can log in on my girl friend and both kids accounts, but not my own. When I do I get that general connection error "we cannot log you in at this time 0x8DD0004" (going
off memory). What happened? Why did I get logged out and why can't I log back in when I can log other accounts in on the same console? I will continue to try to log back in over and over until I either get back in or somebody tells me to stop because they
know what the issue is/was.

 

I had same thing happen playing offline waiting for the outage... lol
