    Hi,

    Am on windows 10 and per-ordered gears of war 4 via the xbox app.I have no issues playing the game online with my xbox one friends.I can invite my friends or join their game if they have invited me. My problem is, i cant start a party to be able to chart
    to my friends in game.I get an error we could not find your microphone.Now here is the dilemma.The same setup works with skype. I ran skype then minimise it and fire up the game, my mates on xbox one do the same.Am using the astro A50 headsets.This works flawless
    with the same setup.So how does skype detect my mic and the xbox app for windows 10 doesn't?Any help would be appreciated as the chart option is in the app but doesnt work.

    What type of headset is it ? Are you sure it's compatible with the Xbox one? Have you checked to make sure it doesn't need any additional firmware or anything downloaded directly from the manufacturers site ? My current headset needed an entire app downloaded
    onto my PC before it would work properly

    From what i heard, this is a common issue which Microsoft are aware of, and are working on the fix. For now the only options you have is to use a Xbox headset adapter or wait until the issue is fixed.

    Hey DARTH LimiteDZz, since you are experiencing issues with your Xbox App on your Windows 10 PC, I shifted your thread to the better suited section - just a head's up! :)

    That said, let's have you check some settings:

    • Is your version of Windows 10 fully updated?
    • Is your Xbox App fully up to date?
    • Is your USB mic's firmware fully updated?
    • And what USB mic are you trying to use?
    Check for those updates and see if any of that helps. If not, post back with your mic's information and we'll see what we can do next. :)
