    Since 12/28/16 I have been getting this error when trying to log into Xbox app on Windows 10: "We can't sign you in right now. Try again later. (0x409) 0x80070005" All of the game apps that I have that depending on Xbox live, like Solitaire, won't allow
    me to play except as Guest.

    I did a System Restore last night and just afterward I was able to get the Xbox app to work without issue. However, Windows Updates ran overnight and now it's not working again.

    I've looked in Windows Update Settings and there are a several updates that say they've failed to install. I can't rollback anything because the only installed updates that appear are from over a month ago. I have since undone the system restore but I'm
    back where I started. Xbox app is up to date.
