    Honestly it would be nice to play with my friends right now, I mean its not like i pay for a service to game ONLINE with FRIENDS. And normally i wouldnt even post on here but ive had about enough of the constant issues microsoft has been having like every
    week. Either i cant sign on or friends is down or this app is down, etc..... This issue wouldnt make me so mad if it werent for the fact that a whole day and still nothing on when i will be able to play with my friends again for all i know it wont be till
    tomorrow. I wasted my time yesterday (my day off) and now here i am again hoping by the time i got off work it be fixed, nope guess not. This is costing "me" microsoft and i dont appreciate it. Dont ask me for a survey cuz this is how i feel about your service..

    I can't believe it that this workaround actually works...

    Just have a friend open a random club, request an invite (no need to accept it) and follow it. Problem solved. If you cancel the request, your friendlist will be bugged again.

    Thanks to Dale T19 for this "fix".

    It's a distributed denial of service attack(DDos) apparently

    DDoS attacks are where they spams the server with useless network traffic bringing them down. Probably explained better on

    Wikipedia.

    It's not actually a hack.

    As DDoS attacks are not hacks your accounts should be safe.

    If in doubt change your password to one that is a random string of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols to make it difficult to guess. Obviously make sure you can remember the password.
