    We are unable to join games on the new xbox one s with xbox live membership.


    We have an xbox one and just purchased the xbox one s. With the xbox live membership (we have 2, one for each xbox) we are unable to join games on the xbox one s. I have changed the privacy settings to allow any game, etc. It's also much slower than our
    xbox one. Any help is appreciated.

    For Christmas bought my son a new xbox 360 because old one died. We had gold membership with old xbox, however, unable to join with old account, with new xboxI was told because, memory card from old computer has Live info and cant be transferred. So I canceled
    subscription and trying to sign up with new xbox, but getting error code 8232008. Can anyone help me please.

    to connect the Xbox One S console to the internet all you need is a internet connection, to which you can connect the console.

    For youtube there is not addition membership required, for Netflix a Netflix membership is required.

    There is no need for a Xbox Live Gold subscription to be able to use these apps and download demo's or purchased games etc.

    A membership like Xbox Live Gold is required when you want to play multiplayer games online or use party chat etc
