    "We are unable to find your microphone" in a party - Windows 10 Xbox App


    Every time I start or join a party I get the error message "We are unable to find your microphone"

    I am using a SteelSeries Siberia V2 Gaming headset which connects via 2 3.5mm jacks, one for mic and one for audio. It is my windows default and all my network settings in the app are connected/obtained.

    What could be the problem?

    I don't have an Xbox One microphone, so I would use the Xbox App on Windows 10 to talk in parties, for some reason today after an update, I am unable to receive party invites on the App. Please help?

    Hey DARTH LimiteDZz, since you are experiencing issues with your Xbox App on your Windows 10 PC, I shifted your thread to the better suited section - just a head's up! "We are unable to find your microphone" in a party - Windows 10 Xbox App :)

    That said, let's have you check some settings:

    • Is your version of Windows 10 fully updated?
    • Is your Xbox App fully up to date?
    • Is your USB mic's firmware fully updated?
    • And what USB mic are you trying to use?
    Check for those updates and see if any of that helps. If not, post back with your mic's information and we'll see what we can do next. "We are unable to find your microphone" in a party - Windows 10 Xbox App :)

    Hello.

    On the Xbox App on windows 10, to change the Speakers/Microphone settings, you can find them by clicking the three line button at the top left and choosing settings.

    In the General tab, the 2nd sub-section should say "Party". There is a drop down for Speakers, and another for Microphone that allow you to select your devices.

    of the application. Do you see any error messages in the network settings of the Xbox Console Companion App? We recommend making sure that
