    "We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found" error when trying to authorise child...


    I have set up a Microsoft account for my son as a child account. I am trying to create an Xbox Live account for him.

    At a certain point in the process it asks me (as the parent) to approve the account. I enter my email address and then, in the next window, my password and then, *every* *single* *time* I get the error message: We
    are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found

    I have tried using different browsers (Chrome and Edge), I've tried clearing the cookies (in both Chrome and Edge). I've left it for a bit and tried again later. Nothing is working.

    How can I get past this defect? This should be straightforward!

    Also, you don't have an "Account" category under Xbox when posting questions, which seems like a careless oversight.

    I have exactly the same problem (i.e. ""We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found" when trying to provide consent to my child's xbox account).



    Has anyone managed to find a solution?

    when i try to renew it pops this windows:
