Ways to avoid a stalker?

Sorry to hear that you're having these issues. This is the first time I've ever heard of anything like this. The only thing I can suggest is reporting and blocking the player (and his Facebook profile.)

Other than that, just try to ignore it. People watch you all the time. On the street, on the bus, in a restaurant. There's nothing "embarrassing" that you can do on your console that anyone can see. (It only says "Playing Halo" or "Watching Netflix.") Just enjoy your games and ignore this loser wasting his life looking at people's status updates for whatever reason.

If you truly feel that there's more to it and you feel threatened, you should report him to the police.

I'm not sure if you maybe misunderstand the "follow" feature. Anyone can follow anyone. You can follow Phil Spencer if you want. Some people enjoy having hundreds of "friends" on their list, or add everyone they ever play a multiplayer game with, or someone who uploads nice screenshots. But that doesn't mean they're stalking you.

If they don't send you messages, I'm not sure how you know that they're following you around. Just ignore it.

Set contacts to friends only and don't accept random adds

i've tried everything. They know when I'm online, What game I'm playing and they sit and watch every little thing I do. I cannot play. They even tried adding me on Facebook. They are simply surveillance stalking me. They know all my accounts. It has come to the point where I don't want to sign on. You didn't even read my message..there's no way I can force my friends to hide their friend's list.

I'm not talking about following someone. It's much deeper than that. They sit and watch literally everything I do even when I appear offline. I know because I talked to them in the past for a brief time which I removed and blocked and they keep finding out my other accounts that I want to play anonymity on.. They're not sending me messages because they know I will report and they will expose themselves. So, they are surveillance stalking me. It has come to the point where I cannot sign on Xbox anymore...
