    Way too much stuff installed


    Recently my Xbox has been shutting down randomly after game play and even just watching tv now. I'm curious if this is because I have the first Xbox one that came out(maybe it's hitting it's life span) or if its because i have too much installed on my xbox.
    I have the 500GB full of stuff but then have an external storage unit with around 100 games installed and several apps and movies as well. Can you have too much installed into the Xbox or is this maybe a power cable issue or something?

    No matter how powerful you make a console devs are always going to be wishing for a little bit extra.You have to have a limit somewhere.You cant make an infinitely powerful console with unlimited memory or no one would be able to afford it.

    Hey thatONEguy0313! Generally the console should be able to preform even when full but it may be causing issues having been used for so long. Try out a

    factory reset     and see if it helps clear up some of the issues you've been seeing. Let me know how it goes!

    @cameleon that's because you believe in numbers and spin. I see the fans on X1 getting it and then just regular joes seeing it in action and will be blown away by its performance. I know I was when I got to see and play both it and PS4 on Saturday. I also
