Way to register a Xbox One game to account, then play on PC?

Hello,

I had to uninstall Forza Horizon 4 from my PC to transfer it from a 1TB SSD to an 8TB HDD for storage reasons. I tried to re-install it a few days ago and it prompted me to buy PC Game Pass (I already own Xbox game pass btw) or to buy it. I own the game on disc and have a couple hundred hours of playtime in it. Is there a way to register it to my account so I can play it on my PC without the need of cloud gaming/screen sharing? I know that only Xboxes can read Xbox discs and that a normal PC DVD disk ready can't read it.

Summary:
Can I download owned Xbox One games to my account and play them on PC without buying PC Game Pass or the game on Xbox for Windows? The game in question was initially bought as a disk copy.

What I'm running (It won't count for much due to the question lol)
Latest Windows 10 version
NVidia 1080ti with 32gb DDR4, Ryzen 5 3600x, and a wired gigabit connection.

Xbox Series X, latest software

FH4 has all DLCs + VIP besides Treasure Map

You would have to purchase it digitally to be able to do that. The game is a Play Anywhere title, so if you purchase it digitally, it will work on both the console and. There's no way to do so otherwise.

all ubisoft games use uplay, gives you unlocks in games also, you don't need the app running in the background neither, even all ea games require you to have a registered origins account to play any ea games online that includes pc, ps4 and xbox, tis the
way it is, also to add a note, the xbox one aint slow or sluggish for me.

Hi there,

If the game is owned on a different account then the one you are playing on, it will most likely not work on PC. I believe the only way to fix that is to play it on Xbox or on that account on PC.

My xbox one console was previously used so there is already an account registered to it. Is there any way I can unregister the console and then register it under my account?
