    Way to quickly delete message from snap view from messaging app.


    Why can't we just hover over the convo and use the bumper buttons to delete the messages MUCH more quickly? Instead having to open it one by one to delete it.

    I'm not sure if I posted this under the correct sub-forum... This place is hard to navigate sometimes.

    New XB1 update rolling out tomorrow

    The new way to snap is just not as good. No way to quickly get back to the previously snapped app anymore, from what I can tell.

    XBOX APP AVALIBLE IN THE JAN WIN 10 BUILD

    Couple things I want to try out,
    I don't think you can message other users yet looks like you can just view. If you can confirm that for me would be great.
    I also want to check how much lag there is between sending messages from the app to time it takes to get the message on xbox.

    Use Xbox.com to view your messages, find one from Xbox Live that says Invalid Date and delete it. Now sign out of the Xbox App on Windows 10 and sign back in. You should now be able to view messages in the app.

    Is there anyway to see past deleted messages? One of mine got reported and Im curious about it said.

    If you have already deleted the message or the message has expired, there is no way to view the message on the user side. Sorry.

    This worked for me and hopefully it does for you, unfortunately chat support was unable to assist.

    Any how - if you are unable to access your messages on your Xbox App or your messages from Xbox.com there is currently a system message that is on your account that can be viewed on your smart device or xbox platform. I was unable to delete it while viewing
    it on the Xbox One, to work around this I went on smart glass through my tablet where I was able to delete the system message from my account. After I did this I signed out of the Xbox App on my PC and signed back in and BOOM, back to normal.

    I did not have to sign out of xbox.com, i simply clicked the link for messages and it was working as well.

    100% needs to happen for friends and viewing messages, surely that's the whole point of snap!?
