Discus and support Water In Console in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I accidentally spilled some water in the top fan of my xbox one i don't think it was that much but i'm not sure.     Water In Console


    I accidentally spilled some water in the top fan of my xbox one i don't think it was that much but i'm not sure. The console was completely off the power cord wasn't even plugged in when it happened. What would be the best to dry it and how long should
    i wait to plug it in, Currently it's in a towel upside down.

    if its not too late, then get a very large container, fill it with rice. Place the xbox inside of there and you should be okay hopefully. I do this with my cell phone when I get it wet and it works perfectly.

    i unplugged it the second the water hit it (IE: i yanked it off my TV stand, lol) but ok i'll leave it off for a few days, its really hot and dry here on the west coast BC so it hopefully will dry out. Thanks!

    I would be leaving it at least overnight. A day or so would be best. Get a packet of boil in the bag rice and pop it beside as this will draw the moisture away.

    Lol I got my XBox wet too trying to let it fry right now... But I'm not sure it will recover because i spilled the whole cup. But fortunately only a tiny bit got in the fan and none of it spilled where the cords are, and also most of it spilled to the floor.
    Will it be okay?

    But I left my skyrim in there and the paperclip did not work... I plugged it in, turned it on and im currently watching a UFC fight :) Thanks for the suggestions
