Watching TV turns off my Receiver since July update

    Hello all,

It would seem that in the July update there were some changes to the audio options. Now, whenever i turn the xbox on, if the tv app is front and center it forces my receiver to go into protected mode. If I change the audio to bitstream though, its fine,
but for some reason it seems to keep changing the settings every time the xbox goes into stand by.

This is a royal pain as every time i turn the console on, i have to tell it to go to settings in order to be able to actually see anything, thank god for Kinect.

Anyone else having a similar issue, or have any fixes?

    :)

Marantz SR7000: One sends double power toggle during power off

So, I found a solution that worked for me. I had hdmi control for everything to turn off and turn on. I was getting the double power off. It turns out that it was my tv that was sending the extra off. Essentially, xbox told the receiver to turn off,
and then told the tv to turn off. then the tv (a Samsung) told the receiver to turn off again. so I told the tv to quit controlling things and it's worked since.

Xbox One no longer turns off my audio receiver after Feb. 2014 update

After the latest update, my Xbox One no longer turns off my audio receiver. It turns it on just fine and controls the volume, but no longer turns it off along with my TV when I turn off my Xbox. Anyone else having this issue? It worked totally fine before
    the update.

    I have a Samsung HW-E550 audio receiver.

    Thanks, fellas.

That's odd as the last system update didn't update anything concerning the pass through features or the Oneguide features. You can check the updates here:

    support.xbox.com/.../system-update-operating-system
    .

The month of June saw some updates for those features, but if you're just now having issues I'm thinking it may not have anything to do with the update. I would try running some basic maintenance on your system (hold the power sensor on the front of the
console for 10 secs, let it go for 10 secs, turn it back on) and see if that helps. If not, I'd try setting up your Oneguide devices again. If that doesn't help, I'd try a factory restore and set it all up from square one. If nothing else, that will be
able to confirm if it's a hardware or software issue.

Let us know how it goes.

Newbie question: Switching back to television mode

When you switch it over, are you leaving the Dish receiver turned on? Your Dish receiver may be sensing that the TV is off, since it's not receiving a signal from the TV. It is probably timing out. Try turning off the Dish receiver when you turn the Xbox
on, then turn it back on when you watch TV.

(0x8027025a) Live TV error code help please

Same exact problem here. Had everything set up and Watch TV was running smoothly when I decided to see if the Xbox One could turn on my TV, Cable Box and Audio Receiver with the "Xbox On" command. So I entered all the information in the setup (TV, cable
box, and audio receiver model), turned everything off, said "Xbox on!" and only the Xbox turned on. I turned everything on manually, went back to Watch TV and was greeted with the error code 0x8027025a. Like Ape One, I can no longer access the TV set up commands
to start over. Looks like this will need a patch update to fix before it will work again :(
