    Watching Live TV


    So I just purchased the Xbox One and set it up so that i can watch live TV. Is it true that the Xbox One needs to be on in order for the HDMI pass through to work? If that is the case, is it OK to have the Xbox One on constantly all day long. 7am to midnight
    daily. I have a stay at home wife and two kids. TV is on in the background all day long.

    120Hz pass-through on live TV

    Can the Xbox one display live TV at 120hz or higher? I only see a setting for 60 and 50. watching TV looks ghetto compare to watching it without the Xbox in the middle.

    Yes, it is find to leave it on like that. I have had my console on at times for better than 10 hours and have it continuously set to Instant On which uses voice commands to turn the console on.
