    Watching beam on your tv.


    Trying to get my friend to watch my broadcast but he can only use his smart tv. Is there no Beam app yet?

    Stream from Xbox One to Beam - No in-game audio, just video on Beam.

    I've attempted to broadcast from XB1 to Beam. Everything seems to look fine but there is no in-game audio on the Beam stream, just video. I do have audio and video on my TV.

    Odd kinect behavior

    Yep, the Kinect fires out IR beams in various directions to try and ensure that it can control your TV, so it basically works like a universal remote.

    On the Xbox, go into Settings - TV & OneGuide - Device Control and you can choose your model of TV etc. there.

    Watching beam on your tv.

    He would need to contact the television manufacturer to see if there's a Beam app. Otherwise there is a built in app on the console that he can use to watch streams if he has an Xbox One.

    They didnt Save it...

    As you already answered, there is a way for Beam to save videos on their site Beam(.)pro

    You are also able to watch your own stream as it is happening which allows you to chat via text if you don't have a Mic setup. You will notice quite a time difference between what you do on Xbox and what shows up on the site though. For me it's nearly a
    30 second latency.
