Watch_Dogs

I got it last night. But even as I was standing in line at the release, I could barely keep my eyes open. I played for about 3 minutes and went to bed while it finished installing. I've played a little more today and I gotta say, it's pretty amazing so far.

Can one of you guys confirm that this linkage is to buy the game
digitally and not get a disc sent to me. The page isn't clear at all as to what it is I'm purchasing. =/

 

The reviews I've read are good. I like Destrucoid. I'll get this when I come home from vacation in 2 weeks. I like that all of the reviews are consistent. They say. there is so much content which I like because that seems rare now-a-days.

 

I've watched plenty of reviews and like the idea of the mini games, seems to be a bit like Saints Row to inject a bit of humour into an otherwise serious game, something GTAV lacked in my opinion. Guess I'll find out in about 5 hours! Tick tock tick tock................

 

I am playing this game (disc version) and it is horrible, confusing game. It lacks where to go, what to do, and doesn't explain much. The driving really sucks big trees. Once you pull out you gun you cannot put it back unless you get into a car and get out
of the car otherwise you charring the dam thing. Not a very good game too much loading, too many cut scenes to deal with a really poor made game. It might get better as the game goes on but right now it sucks save your money guys.

 

^^ Too much loading? Is it riddled with load screens?

 

LB lets you take out/ put away your gun at any time. There are a lot of distractions but I love it, really enjoying the game.

 

I'd have to disagree with this guy up there, I havent had any issues with loading screens really. I believe its LB to put your weapons away, and it can be a little confusing at first because the game throws a lot at you during
the tutorials but once you realize how everything work its a lot of fun.

Not sure how your getting lost there's a map with a waypoint marker.

Driving is a little but clunky though, its not as polished and smooth as GTA 5 but its sure a lot better than Saints Row haha.

 

Lots of postive things so far, think I will pick it up today as I just didn't get the chance yesterday.

 

I'm picking the game up this weekend, can't wait!

 

Meh, played for an hour and I didn't feel anything for the game. Just a blended mix of other games that did it better. I don't know... I'll try getting back into it and see if it gets better. So far I'm disappointed.

Yea, thats kind of how I feel now that ive gotten a few hours more into it.

Don't get me wrong everything seems pretty solid I guess, I just haven't really been able to get into it. I'm not sure why, I think so far the story is just kind of limited maybe. Maybe i'll change my mind the more I actually play
it.

 

Now that I've put some more time in to it, I can say with absolute conviction, this is a definite contender for GOTY. Destiny and Dragon Age better step their game up, for real.
