    Watch ESPN App - Xbox One - Xfinity


    When I go to activate the Watch ESPN app on Xbox one, via my computer or mobile device, I go to the website provided, enter my activation code and select my cable provider (Xfinity). At that point, I receive the following message:

    404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
    Recognizing that the response "this is a Comcast issue" is the same as saying "sorry, you're not going to be able to use the Watch ESPN app," please answer the following questions:

    [1] is this a common issue; and

    [2] is there a known work around?

    World Cup tomorrow and destination Brazil on X1

    You can watch all of the World Cup matches with the ESPN app. I'm using the ESPN app on my Xbox One.

    I have the ESPN app and xfinity..it works on my pc but not I cant find ESPN3 on my xbox. All I can find is old ESPN highlights. Do I have to have the kinect also?

    Well you would need a gold account to do such a thing and the account you are posting with is not. But dependent on what channels are offered on Xfinity or Verizon you could watch the game that way. But the Espn app doesnt allow for this nor does the NFL
    app. BTW I am a HUGE Ravens fan and they Pats are going to get spanked

    It doesn't appear that there is an app specifically for Xbox One for Xfinity Streaming. Alternatively, you could download apps for particular networks you'd like to watch (USA, SyFy, etc) and sign into those using your Xfinity credentials. Hope this helps!
